The Dogends didn&#8217;t survive the pandemic and our involvement in the local folk-music scene has increased but Melissa missed working with a live-band. She was asked to stand in for one gig with a friend\u2019s band \u2018One For The Road\u2019 because their steel-guitarist couldn\u2019t be there for some reason. No rehearsal. A set-list by email and wing it on the day. Well, they seem to like her because she\u2019s done three dates with them now and there are more in the diary. I went along to one at \u2018The Forrester\u2019s\u2019 in Bagshot. Good band.
